Our Boats

OUR BOATS

Here at Beng Bengs we have two speedboats, a larger boat and a smaller one. These boats are hand-made Mentawaian canoes designed and made by locals in Siberut. The local constructions are designed with our sea and environment in mind, ensuring that they work effectively in any Mentawaian sea and weather conditions. We’ve equipped them with surfboard racks, seatings and a roof, tailoring them to your surf needs. The smaller boat can carry four people and runs with two engines of forty horse power, while our larger boat carries up to ten people, it can run with two or also three, if needed, forty horse power engines, allowing for a speedy arrival at any one of our numerous surf destinations. Alternatively you can decide amongst the group where you would like to go and which waves you would like to check out. Either way, don’t be scared to let us know the kind of waves you’re interested in surfing so that we can work together to put you in the spot! While we’re sure most of you are here for the waves, being in possession of two speedboats opens up your options and allows us to cater for several different activities.
